The question is Do you Have Talent?

Ok so just recently I decided to go to an open call in Salt lake City with my best friend Ellen. Well it ended up being a talent agency call W Talent. So we had a great time on our first meeting even though I didn't think it would go any wear. But to my surprise they really liked me, they invited me back for a second meeting to see if I would be interested in taking some classes and maybe signing with them. Well I went back to the second meeting and it sounded like something I would totally be interested in. So know I am trying to make a decision about what I should do, should I sign with an agent and see what comes of it. Should I pay the money and take some class, or should I just go on with my life like this was never an option. Hopefully something will work out and I will be able to make this decision with a sound mind. Please pray for me to make the right choose. I have all so posted some of my head shots so you tell me if you think I can do it.

Miss Plus America Pageant

Hi everyone. Ok so I haven't had a minute to myself sense I got home from the pageant. I have been in Atlanta working and spending time with Debbie Shannon. Debbie you truly are my long lost sister, I am so glad we meet up at the pageant. Well just to give you an update. I came in 5th at the national pageant it was a ton of fun and I totally plan on attending next year. I met some of the most amazing women and made friendships that will last a life time. Thank you to my friends and family for your support and continued encouragement with out you this wouldn't have been possible. I will keep you updated and post some pictures soon.

Iowa

I just recently had the opportunity to go back to Iowa and visit some old friends. I served my mission hear and haven't been back in 4 years so I was really excited. It just so happened that my scheduled trip overlapped with all of the bad weather they have been having. Many friends and family members were worried about me coming but it seems that I came just at the right time. There is nothing greater then the filling of service. A special thanks to the Lowry family for letting me stay with them Jason you really are my brother from another mother and Josovi you have the most patients I have every seen I am sure there is a special place in heaven for you. Eli you have grown up so much it's almost like you became an adult over night keep smiling and doing what your parents ask of you and you will do many great things. Mirriam you haven't changed a bit thanks for being my little squirt. To the boys Evan and EJ you are both so cute I will miss playing with you and jumping on the bed together. I love you all and wish you the best. Lets not let it be another 4 years until we see each other again.

Great News

So today I got a call from a productions company in New York City regarding the Miss Plus America Pageant. I had a 10 minute interview and I think it went pretty well. I really hope I am chosen and that this well all end well for the Miss Plus America Organization. So keep your figures crossed and hopefully I will be one of the few that is chosen to continue.

Provo City Walk a Thon

So Saturday I had a really big appearance. I had the privilege of spending Saturday Morning with BYU Students from the Rotary Club as well as club members from Wasatch Mental Health. It was truly my pleasure to get to know each and every one of them. As we all participated in the walk-a-thon in down town Provo. Thank you for making my day so enjoyable. A special thanks to Wasatch Mental Health for inviting me to participate in this event. I really enjoyed spending time with all of the club members and well come by and see you all soon.

Keeping Busy

So it has been a very busy week. Work is crazy and I have been really busy trying to get everything ready for the pageant. I finally got my add put together and my friend Danelle did a great job. Thanks again Danelle you are amazing. I am still looking for other sponsors but for the most part the company I work for DCWV is really taking care of all lot of it. A special thanks to Mike and Nancy Hill for there kindness. I truly am so luck to have such an amazing job. Well this weekend looks like it is going to be a busy one. I have my mission reunion tomorrow night and then on Saturday I am helping with the Provo City Marathon. I even plan on walking a mile with some of the other participants in support of my platform. No Attacks-Breath Easy dealing with asthma. So look for another post very soon.
